Super! Congrats on going paid & I'm honored that you mentioned my post.

You know, in addition to the risk of our own fallibility, I was thinking about the way we might get over-identified with our forecasts. I like to be able to adapt to conditions as they change, but I imagine that might be more difficult if I'm categorized in one way or another. Maybe some of the time when people project certainty, they're defending their past views.

Thanks, Kjirste! Your post is worth reading. I agree that we can invest too much of our ego in our forecasts. I certainly find it difficult to admit when I'm wrong. Sometimes I think build their whole identity around a particular view. But it's can be so hard to know what's ego and what rational. Changing our minds isn't necessarily a virtue if we do it without good reason.

I always watch the credits to the entire end of each movie. Sometimes it is well worth the wait. Good example, Black Adam.
